A few Sundays back i was lazying at home with nothing do. It was raining and gloomy clouds covered the blues.
I slept, woke up, stared at the ceiling fan, slept again till it was time for lunch. I did not want to set my foot out in the rain. I feasted on some home cooked rice and dal and made my breakfast hungry stomach happy. Suddenly I had this spurt of energy and the will to do something... something like wash the big pile of clothes or study something or read a book... yeah! Read a book! Complete the book i started a long time back! yeah! I looked out of the window. Sunlight! this must be a dream! everything is falling into place. I must make best use of this. I want to finally complete the thumb thick "Time travel in Einstein's Universe" by Richard Gott. In an involuntary movement of my body, i grabbed my bike keys, stuffed the book in my backpack and of course put on some decent clothes and headed straight to Mulshi!
On the way i picked up a pack of Lays potato chips and Maaza. It was nice, sunny and 'bikerful' until it poured. It POURED. "AAHH! NO!! $%@&@#!!!". I screamed through my helmet. "No! it will stop! Maybe it is will-power testing time, I will read 'Time travel in Einstein's Universe' at Mulshi". My bike roared through the curves, through the towns, through the villages, through the fields, through the puddles... till I took a bio-break.
I waited for some time near a small road side stall. I waited for the rain to calm down a bit. It did. And it stopped. "YeeHaa!". I hopped on the saddle, pulled the handle and galloped all the way to Mulshi. What a familiar sight. Yet, what a beautiful sight. It was just me and my bike on top and a rain drop on my nose. Then another on my shoulder, then my hand. It was back again. hmmmpfff!
So it was after all no reading for me. I gave up fighting with Almighty and took out my snacks. As usual i just soaked in nature's beauty to the fullest.
But i am going to finish this book. Maybe at Diveagar beach? hmm not a bad idea. hmmm ;)

How are you doing man. I know very inappropriate place to ask this question :D. You write well dude, and you write honestly. Can imagine with every word you said, you twisting and turning on the curves and reaching out to the sky. Planning to finish a book....and replanning it. Keep writing....I bet you have a consitent reader :)
